You hurt for them, want to make everything easy....You aren't their friend but their parent (of course you don't know as much as their friends and other people either). At times it hurts and at times you feel they are going away--you want so much for them. But isn't that your job...to work your way out of a job as a parent? Wish you could just hold them forever and make everything perfect. Do you remember this post? I said you would fully understand this after holding Your Baby. She is so special, and we love her deeply. Parenting–You love them more than life itself and want everything for them. You hurt for them, want to make everything easy….You aren’t their friend but their parent (of course you don’t know as much as their friends and other people either). At times it hurts and at times you feel they are going away–you want so much for them. But isn’t that your job…to work your way out of a job as a parent? It is great being a mom, but I assure you it will suck the life right out of you. You will think you can’t make it another day and you will. You will give, give , and give and won’t take a thing. Jill it is life time of giving. If you look back on life I am still giving to you girls. Trust me it never ends. Thats because of all the love you hold for that daughter. The rewards will come, when she does something special and your busting with pride and you will think your daughter is the only one who could accomplish this. Someday when you help her set up her nursery. You will see the excitement and how proud she is that it looks so good. Thats a reward for being a parent! It makes you feel good because you made something special for her. Love you Mom
